"Win a VIP Boxing Experience" Terms and Conditions
1 GENERAL TERMS
1.1 By entering the Prize Draw, the participant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, this set of terms and conditions shall override any general prize draw terms and conditions on our website.
1.2 Unless otherwise stated, entrants must be 18 years of age or over and a UK resident to enter the Prize Draw.
1.3 The online prize draw "Win a VIP Boxing Experience” (the 'Prize Draw') is offered by the British Olympic Association, (‘the Company”) whose registered address is: 101 New Cavendish St, London W1W 6XH. The prize will be provided by World Boxing, who are the delivery partner for the Company for the Prize Draw.
1.4 Only one entry per unique email address is permitted and subsequent or multiple entries shall not be valid. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. The winner shall be the named respondent on the randomly selected winning submission. Prize draw entries that are automatically generated by computer, completed by third parties or in bulk will not be accepted.
1.5 Prize Draw Period: Entries for the contest will be accepted until the time outlined on our prize draw page.
1.6 The purpose of the Prize Draw is to select one winner that will receive their choice of one of the three following prizes. The winner cannot win multiple prizes. The winner cannot swap elements of prizes in or out of the described prize content.
1.6.1 PRIZE 1: Two tickets to Category A seats for one Finals Session 13-14 September, a “behind-the-scenes” tour, meet-and-greet with leaders from World Boxing and other VIPs, standard train travel for two people to and from Liverpool Lime Street Station, from the winner’s nearest train station (seat selection shall be determined by World Boxing at its sole discretion).
1.6.2 PRIZE 2: A 45-minute training session for two, with one of GB Boxing’s (as boxing proxy for Team GB) performance squad coaches, a meet and greet with coaches and athletes hoping to reach Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, and standard train travel and transfer to and from English Institute for Sport, Sheffield, as home of GB Boxing, from the winner’s nearest train station (coaches and athletes shall be determined by World Boxing at its sole discretion).
1.6.3 PRIZE 3: GB Boxing equipment signed by Olympic medal winners for Team GB, and a certificate of authenticity (quantity and selection of merchandise and Olympians shall be chosen by World Boxing at its sole discretion).
1.7 The Company and any third parties involved with the delivery of the prize reserve the right to apply alterations to the prize details where necessary.
1.8 The Company and World Boxing accept no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize that are not expressly included in clause 1.6 above. For the avoidance of doubt, the prizes do not include accommodation, food and drink, spending money, tax and/or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner and their guest. Travel expenses can only be paid into a UK bank account.
1.9 To enter the prize draw: no purchase is necessary; however, internet access and access to https://www.teamgb.com/prize-competitions/win-vip-boxing-experience/1JWebnWgm4A5a9gRTM0oDg (the ‘Site’) are required.
1.10 The prize winner will be chosen at random and contacted by a representative from the Company via the email address/telephone number provided on entry within 24 hours of the prize draw closing date, which will be listed on our prize draw page.
1.11 In order to receive the prize, the winner must respond within 24 hours of initial contact.
1.12 If the prize winner fails to respond within 24 hours of notification, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative prize winner(s) will be contacted.
1.13 Proof of submission shall not be proof of receipt. Entries that are incomplete, incorrectly filled in, illegal, illegible, in the incorrect format or fraudulent or those not received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed invalid and not accepted. The Company does not accept any responsibility for technical failures which prevent an entrant from submitting an entry and no responsibility will be accepted by the Company for entries lost, corrupted or delayed in transmission.
1.14 The prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered. The date and times of the sessions available to the prizewinner are fixed and cannot be changed.
1.15 The Company reserves the right to modify, cancel, extend or discontinue the prize draw rules or any part thereof at any time without prior notification.
1.16 The Company accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Prize Draw or accepting the prize.
1.17 The Company further disclaims any liability for any injury or damage to the individuals associated with this prize save for where (i) death or personal injury is caused by negligence; (ii) such liability arises from fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) for any other reason or by any cause which cannot be excluded by law.
1.18 The Company will not take any responsibility for an individual’s behaviour and any consequences associated with an individual’s actions during the period of the prize.
1.19 The Company shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this prize where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, the COVID-19 pandemic or connected events, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, industrial dispute, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
1.20 By entering this Prize Draw, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in to receive information and offers from the Company. If you do opt-in to such communications, you will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe at any time.
1.21 By entering the Prize Draw, the prize winner gives consent for their name, contact number and address to be passed to any necessary third-party providers (including but not limited to World Boxing) for delivery of the prize. Save for the exception above and unless you have opted-in to receive future marketing communications from the Company, your personal data will not be passed to any third party unless required to do so by law or an appropriate regulatory authority.
1.22 By entering the Prize Draw, entrants are sending their personal information to the Company who will at all times process an entrant’s personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
1.23 The Company’s decision is final in every situation and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
1.24 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Company may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Prize Draw.
1.25 The Company reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
1.26 These Terms and Conditions will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
1.27 The Company will assume (and by entering the Prize Draw the Entrant will warrant that) that any Entrant shall have legal capacity to enter into the agreement set out in these Terms and Conditions (i.e. that each Entrant is of sufficient age and mental capacity and are otherwise entitled to be legally bound in contract).
