Mary Peters recalls Tokyo 1964 and its legacy

Dame Mary Peters is a three-time Olympian who won the nation's hearts at the Munich 1972 Olympic Games, where she won gold in the women's pentathlon. She had previously made her Olympic debut at Tokyo 1964, narrowly finishing fourth in the same event.

With the Olympics returning to Japan later this year, Peters recalls her time at the Games, tells the story of rooming with fellow Olympic greats Ann Packer and Mary Rand, plus the role of sport in inspiring the next generation of female athletes.

These are her Olympic Memories.
