Jonathan Edwards, Kelly Holmes & Katharine Merry Sydney 2000 Athletics Medals

On September 25th 2000, Jonathan Edwards, Kelly Holmes and Katharine Merry rounded off a special night for British athletics, by winning a medal apiece in the Sydney Olympic Stadium.

Edwards produced a stunning jump of 17.78m to win gold in the men's triple jump, while Kelly Holmes and Katharine Merry picked up bronze medals in the 800m and 400m respectively.
