Team GB Winter Competition terms and conditions

1 GENERAL TERMS   

1.1 By entering the contest, the participant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, this set of terms and conditions shall override any general competition terms and conditions on our website.   

1.2 Unless otherwise stated, entrants must be 18 years of age or over and a UK resident to enter the competition.  1.3 The online competition “Team GB Winter Competition terms” (the 'Competition') is offered by the British Olympic Association, (‘the Company”) whose registered address is: 101 New Cavendish St, London W1W 6XH.   

1.4 Only one entry per person is permitted and subsequent or multiple entries shall not be valid. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. The winner shall be the named respondent on the randomly selected winning submission. Competition entries that are automatically generated by computer, completed by third parties or in bulk will not be accepted.   

1.5 Competition Period: Entries for the contest will be accepted until the time outlined on our competition page.   

1.6 The purpose of the Competition is to select individuals that will win one or more of the following prizes:  

a)  A selection of jewellery from the Mappin & Webb x Team GB collection worth £1050, including: Sterling Silver Bascule Cufflinks with Union Flag and Olympic Ring Design; Rhodium Plated, Sterling Silver Round Lapel Pin with Lion Head; Sterling Silver Bead Bracelet with Lion Head Charm; 7'' length, Sterling Silver Lion Head Pendant on 18'' (adjustable to 16'') Spiga Chain; Sterling Silver and Gold-Plated Lion Head Lapel Pin; 21 x 19mm, Saffiano Leather 4CC wallet Turquoise with Embossed Team GB Logo with Grey Stitching. Sterling Silver Round Keyring with engraved Lion Head illustration and; Sterling Silver Lace Lock with engraved Union Flag and Olympic Rings with feature Assay Office Hallmark. 

b) Birdseye Green Cuisine bundle of meat free goodies. This prize also includes Green Cuisine merchandise (to be chosen by Green Cuisine in its sole discretion) such as a branded freezer bag, tote bag, apron, notepad, mug and / or lanyard.

 c) A year's supply of Whole Earth peanut butter, including  

  • 12 x 1kg Peanut Butter tubs 

  • 12 x bottles of drizzler. 

d) Randox Discovery health package, including: 

  • 1 full health MOT measuring 150 data points linked to key health areas such as heart, hormone, liver, kidney health and more. 

  • Personalised Health Plan detailing results & next steps sent out 3-5 working days post-appointment. 

  • Optional GP consultation to review results and receive expert advice. 

e) 6 months supply of Danone GetPRO, including 

  • 1x GetPRO branded coolbox with a range of GetPRO products inside delivered in month 1. 

  • For the remaining following 5 months, winner will receive a box containing a selection of ~20 products, such products to be selected by Danone in its sole discretion. 

  • Total supply will include total of six deliveries across six months. 

f) One month's supply of Old El Paso, including:  

  • 4 x Smoky BBQ Fajita Kit 

  • 4 x Cheesy Baked Enchilada Kit  

  • 4 x Nachips Bag  

  • 4x Salsa  

  • 4 x Guacamole

g) Team GB Shop bundle, which includes a choice of hoodie (max price £44.50), hat (max price £25), and bag (max price £42). 

h) Dream Team Gold Camborne Combination Mattress, at size of winners choice. 

i) Two bronze tickets to Team GB House in Paris next summer 2024 valued at £150 each.  This prize (i) includes:  

  • Entrance to Team GB House for the whole evening* 

  • Access to the exclusive Team GB Lounge and Terrace 

  • Live entertainment from the main stage featuring past and present GB Olympians 

  • Live music and guest hosts 

  • Sporting action on the big screen accompanied by unique insight 

  • Official commemorative Team GB gift 

  • Chance to win exclusive Team GB memorabilia and giveaways 

  • The chance to see Team GB athletes in person as they participate in the action on stage 

  • Complimentary soft drinks for the duration of your visit 

  • Classic British dishes available to purchase from the main bar 

  • Unreserved seating 

*travel and accommodation are not included  The Company and any third parties involved with the delivery of the prize reserve the right to apply alterations to the prize details where necessary.   The tickets may only be used by over 18-year-olds and the Company will require proof of age of those persons attending the Team GB House.   The winner of the Team GB House prize and their guest will be obliged to comply with the ticketing terms and conditions for the Team GB Ball. Failure to do so will result in the prize being withdrawn.   

1.7 The Company accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prizes that are not expressly included in clause 1.6 above. For the avoidance of doubt, the costs of: (i) travel and accommodation to attend Team GB House; (ii) food and drink at Team GB House, except soft drinks; and (iii) adjustments to jewellery are not included in the prize.  

1.8 To enter the competition: no purchase is necessary; however, internet access and access to https://www.teamgb.com/prize-competitions/win-christmas-prizes/4fVSCb5ABGOKXNGRPtJ4VM (the ‘Site’) are required.   

1.9 The prize winners will be chosen at random and contacted by a representative from the Company via the email address/telephone number provided on entry within 48 hours of the competition closing date, which will be listed on our competition page.   

1.10 In order to receive the prize, the winner must respond within 48 hours of initial contact.   

1.11 If the prize winner fails to respond within 48 hours of notification, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative prize winner(s) will be contacted.   

1.12 Proof of submission shall not be proof of receipt. Entries that are incomplete, incorrectly filled in, illegal, illegible, in the incorrect format or fraudulent or those not received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed invalid and not accepted. The Company does not accept any responsibility for technical failures which prevent an entrant from submitting an entry and no responsibility will be accepted by the Company for entries lost, corrupted or delayed in transmission.   

1.13 The prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered.   

1.14 Eligibility for being selected among the winning entries is based on the discretion of the Company.   

1.15 The Company reserves the right to modify, cancel, extend or discontinue the prize draw rules or any part thereof at any time without prior notification.  

 1.16 The Company accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize.   

1.17 The Company further disclaims any liability for any injury or damage to the individuals associated with the prizes save for where (i) death or personal injury is caused by negligence; (ii) such liability arises from fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) for any other reason or by any cause which cannot be excluded by law.   

1.18 The Company will not take any responsibility for an individual’s behaviour and any consequences associated with an individual’s actions during the period of the prize.   

1.19 The Company shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this prize where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, the COVID-19 pandemic or connected events, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, industrial dispute, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.   

1.20 By entering this competition, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in to receive information and offers from the Company. If you opt-in to such communications, you will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe at any time.   

1.21 By entering the competition, the prize winner gives consent for their name, contact number and address to be passed to any necessary third-party providers for delivery of the prize. Save for the exception above and unless you have opted-in to receive future marketing communications from the Company, your personal data will not be passed to any third party unless required to do so by law or an appropriate regulatory authority.   

1.22 By entering the competition, entrants are sending their personal information to the Company who will at all times process an entrant’s personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.   

1.23 The Company’s decision is final in every situation and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.   

1.24 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Company may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.   

1.25 The Company reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.   

1.26 These Terms and Conditions will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.   

1.27 The Company will assume (and by entering the Competition the Entrant will warrant that) that any Entrant shall have legal capacity to enter into the agreement set out in these Terms and Conditions (i.e. that each Entrant is of sufficient age and mental capacity and are otherwise entitled to be legally bound in contract).
