We at the British Olympic Association (“we” or “our” or “us”) want to make sure all the personal information we have collected about you on the Team GB House Ticketing Website and Ticket Wallet App (the “Site”), is safe and secure. This Policy set outs our commitments to you and explains how we collect, store and use your personal information.

To whom does this policy apply?

This policy applies to any individual (“User”) entering information into the online Team GB House ticketing system at house.teamgb.com or the Team GB House Ticket Wallet App (the “Site”), or via hard copy or other forms.

What information do we collect?

We only collect necessary and relevant information which we receive from you via our Site.

The information you provide to us includes (but is not limited to):

  • Data that can be used to identify you (e.g. surname, gender, first names, date of birth)

We use the information we collect on the Site to:

  • Inform you about Team GB House and the ticket options available

  • Provide you with the tickets requested

How long will we keep your personal information for?

Your personal data will be retained for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes set out in this Policy, within the legal time limits.

Disclosure of your information

In order to provide our products and services to you or to otherwise fulfil contractual arrangements that we have with you, we may need to appoint other organisations to carry out some of the data processing activities on our behalf. These may include, for example:

  • Service providers insofar as they are involved for the provision of a product or service

  • Payment service providers handling the appropriate payment transactions and controls

  • Service providers, associated with the organisation of events and events organised by the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Organising Committee, including those responsible for access to and security within Paris

If you have consented to Team GB partner communications, we will pass your personal data on to our official partners who will use such data to communicate offers, discounts and other messaging from time to time.

We may share your data with other third parties (a) if we are under a legal or regulatory duty to do so, (b) if it is necessary to do so to enforce our terms of use, terms and conditions of sale or other contractual rights, (c) to lawfully assist the police or security services with the prevention and detection of crime or terrorist activity, (d) where such disclosure is necessary to protect the safety or security of any persons, and/or (e) otherwise as permitted under applicable law.

If we transfer your personal information to territories outside the United Kingdom or the EEA, we will take proper steps to ensure that your information is protected in accordance with this privacy policy for the foregoing purposes.

In all instances where we disclose your information to third parties, we will ensure that your information is appropriately protected.

Can I request a copy of my personal information?

You can request a copy of information held about you at any time by contacting [email protected]. We reserve the right to charge a fee of £10 per request for such requests. Subject to verifying your identity, we will respond to any such requests with the information requested within 30 days.

Under 18s

Our Site does not intentionally collect children’s personal information and do not allow children under the age of 18 to register on our Site. We encourage parents to educate their children about the need to protect their privacy and about the way they communicate on the Internet.

We attach the utmost importance to the security and integrity of the personal data of Users.
