Wiggins retains narrow lead

Team Sky's Bradley Wiggins holds a one-second advantage with two stages to go of the Tour de Romandie after Luis Leon Sanchez won Friday's third stage.

The Rabobank rider won the 157.6-kilometre stage from La Neuveville to Charmey to move into second place overall after being awarded a 10-second bonus.

Sanchez triumphed in a sprint finish ahead of Gianni Meersman (Lotto-Belisol) and Paolo Tiralongo (Astana), with Wiggins finishing on the same time, but in the safety of the peloton.

Wiggins, who is seeking to add to his Paris-Nice triumph in March, retained the yellow jersey ahead of Saturday's 184km fourth stage from Bulle to Sion and the final 16.5km time-trial in Crans-Montana on Sunday.
