East London well and truly came alive again as the one-year anniversary of last year’s Olympics was celebrated at the weekend.

However the party doesn’t have to stop there with more Brits from London 2012 in action over the next seven days: We take a look at some below.

The Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games took centre stage at the weekend with two days of Olympic action followed by an afternoon of the best Paralympic track and field athletes.

But it is Britain’s pool swimmers mainly in the spotlight this week with Sunday marking the opening day of the World Championships in Barcelona.
