Following recent comments by International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge highlighting the dangers posed by illegal betting, British Olympic Association Chairman Colin Moynihan participated in a debate on this issue in the House of Lords on 9th February 2012. Lord Moynihan delivered the following speech to initiate discussion about what steps are being taken to address the threat posed to the integrity of the Olympic Games by match-fixing and suspicious betting.
