British riders Liam Killeen and Annie Last both claimed top-20 finishes in the World Cup mountain bike event in the Czech Republic to move closer to clinching Olympic places.

Killeen, a 30-year-old two-time Olympian, finished 19th in the men's race at the Nove Mesto Na Morave venue while 21-year-old Last took 20th in the women's event.

Britain are expected to be allocated one place in the men's and women's events.

The final World Cup race before Olympic places are decided takes place in La Bresse, France, next weekend.
