I Am Team GB: One Year On

27 August 2017 / 09:24

One year ago today, just shy of one million people came together to take part in the nation's biggest ever sports day.

I Am Team GB looked to celebrate the incredible feats of our returning Olympians from Rio 2016, who won an amazing 67 medals between them, while also inspiring the nation to be more active through the power of Olympic sport.

Teaming up with The National Lottery and ITV, who turned off the channel for an hour on the morning, the public were invited to take part in the record-breaking sports day at 14 flagship events, including activities held on the sets of Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
