Single sculler Alan Campbell added to Team GB's success in the rowing at London 2012 by claiming bronze at Eton Dorney.
Campbell overhauled Sweden's Lassi Karonen, who had made a blistering start, to finish third behind Olympic champion Mahe Drysdale and silver medallist Ondrej Synek, from the Czech Republic.
Campbell finished fifth in Beijing four years ago after a knee infection almost stopped him from competing at all, and he was delighted to at last get on the podium.
"I've trained for 10 years," he told BBC1. "Bill (Barry) has coached me from day one, from novice, he has taken me to three Olympics and it was disappointing last time with what happened and it was hard coming away from those Games with no medals.
"But two guys were quicker than me today and I did everything I could but ultimately it was too much to match them today."
Campbell and the Chambers brothers are all from Coleraine in Northern Ireland, and Campbell went on: "I'm really pleased, it's another medal for our wee part of the country.
"The Chambers brothers yesterday with a silver, myself with a bronze.
"I'm proud to be from there and proud to represent all parts of the British Isles."
