Bailey and Strong seal trampolining World Cup gold

Nathan Bailey and Luke Strong secured their place in history after a tremendous performance in Spain saw them claim their first World Cup title.

Strong, 23, and 24-year-old Bailey sealed a sensational gold in the men’s synchro trampolining in Valladolid.

The British pair, who had qualified for Sunday’s final top of the leader board, continued their excellent form and topped the standings with a score of 52.250.

They beat off strong competition by the Japanese pair of Daiki Kishi and Ryosuke Sakai, who took silver, and French duo Allan Morante and Pierre Gouzou who had to settle for bronze.
