1936 Olympian Peter Lunn has passed away peacefully aged 97

PETER LUNN died peacefully on 30th November 2011 aged 97

There will be a private funeral followed by a Memorial Service in London the New Year.

Peter was the son of Arnold Lunn who was the founder of the Ladies Ski Club. Peter was himself a great supporter of the LSC and a regular visitor at various functions from dinners to picnics.

Peter had an amazing life; he represented Britain in the 1936 Olympics and was skiing until last winter. In his working life he was a member of the Special Intelligence Services (SIS) and worked all over Europe until his retirement in 1985.

He will be greatly missed by his family and his great many friends.
