Lewis Courtier-Jones grew up in Wyken, Coventry but when living in the French ski resort of Courchevel during the winter months, he took up snowboarding at the age of three.

As a 10-year-old he attended a snowboard camp and was selected for the British team, winning his first European competition in 2009.
Lewis, who competes in both halfpipe and slopestyle, won the World Rookie Halfpipe Champs in 2012, represented Team GB at the inaugural Youth Olympic Games and was British Halfpipe champion in 2014 and 2015.
