Tooting’s Jade Lally took up athletics aged 14, originally doing the high jump before switching to throwing shortly afterwards.
Jade competed for England at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, winning a discus bronze medal in the process.
She has been Britain’s leading female discus thrower for several years and took another national title at the 2015 British Championships.
