Heather Olver


About Heather

Heather Olver first stared playing badminton at the age of six when she joined her local club Waldron Junior Badminton Club with her brother.

She first represented England aged 11 while her senior debut came at the age of 23 with Heather now specialising mainly in doubles.

Her career highlights so far include mixed team silver at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, European women’s doubles bronze, and reaching the final of the 2013 London Grand Prix and Scottish Open.

Did you know: Heather’s talents are not just confined to the court, with a degree in Coach Education and Sports Development from the University of Bath, while she was both a triple jumper and 200m sprinter at Heathfield Community College in East Sussex.
