About Bianca

Bianca Walkden left Rio 2016 an Olympic medallist after collecting bronze in the women's +67kg division following victory over Wiam Dislam of Morocco.

In 2015 Walkden showed that she was one of British taekwondo’s brightest stars when she took gold at the World Championships in Russia.

The previous year had seen the heavyweight fighter add to the European bronze she won in 2010 when she was crowned European champion in Baku, a feat she repeated in 2016.

Almost a year on from Rio, she was crowned World champion once more in Muju, becoming the first Briton to successfully defend a World taekwondo title.
