Amber Hill became the youngest ever Skeet World Cup gold medallist when just 15, on her way to being named 2013 Young Sports Personality of the Year, and was also the youngest member of Team GB’s shooting squad at Rio 2016.
Skeet specialist Hill made the semi-finals in Rio, eventually finishing sixth on her Olympic debut aged just 18, two years after making her Commonwealth Games debut.
Her maiden European Games experience, in 2015, ended with gold, Hill holding her nerve to hit 30 out of 30 clays in a thrilling final shoot-off to claim top spot on the podium.
In 2018, Hill shone on in her second Commonwealth Games campaign in Glasgow, taking the silver medal in the women’s skeet event.
