Will Fletcher rowed alongside Richard Chambers at Rio 2016 in the lightweight men's double sculls, finishing seventh overall after winning the B final.

Fletcher is also a World and European silver medallist in the lightweight men’s double scull after making the podium in both Championships in 2015.

Fletcher claimed his first senior World Championship medal in 2012 when he took silver in the lightweight men’s four and a year later he took bronze in the same event.

In 2017, Fletcher won the lightweight men’s double sculls with Peter Chambers in the first round of the World Rowing Cup in Belgrade.
