Sinead and her brother John Kerr represented Great Britain at the Winter Olympics in 2006 and 2010 finishing in the top 10 on both occasions.

At the 2006 Olympics in Turin they performed to Scottish music from the Porridge Men which was choreographed for them by the 1984 Olympic champion Christopher Dean.

In 2009 they won a bronze medal at the European Championships using music from the celebrated British rock band ‘Muse’.

The Kerrs were due to retire after the 2010 season but decided to do one more season to make up for their Olympic disappointment of finishing eighth in Vancouver. They gained another bronze medal at the 2011 European Championships before eventually retiring.
