A former decathlete, Seb Rodger won 4x400m bronze at the World Junior Championships in 2010 before taking silver in the 400m hurdles at the European Under-23 Championships in 2013.

He made his senior World Championship debut in 2013, making the semi-finals of the 400m hurdles, and the following year took his Commonwealth Games bow at Glasgow 2014.

Rodger earned selection for his Olympic Games debut for Team GB at Rio 2016, where he finished sixth in his heat with a time of 49.54 before going on to finish third in the 2017 British Championships.
