BIOGRAPHY

Three-time Olympian Saskia Clark first had her first taste of the Olympic Games at Beijing 2008 when she finished sixth alongside Christina Bassadone in the women’s 470 class.

At London 2012, Clark teamed up with Hannah Mills with the pair taking silver after losing out to Kiwi pair Jo Aleh and Olivia Powrie in the final race, winning one of five sailing medals collected by Team GB at the Games.

Four years later at Rio 2016, Mills and Clark went one better and became Olympic champions in Brazil to end the hugely successful partnership on a golden high.

The Essex-born sailor also has six World Championship medals to her name, one gold, three silver and two bronze, and was awarded an MBE for services to sailing in the 2017 New Year honours list.
