A successful cyclist on the track and the road, Peter Kennaugh was born in Douglas on the Isle of Man and attended St Ninian’s School – beginning competitive BMX cycling aged six.

Peter was part of the GB team pursuit quartet that won 2012 World Championship gold, setting a new world record in the process, before also claiming gold alongside Ed Clancy, Geraint Thomas and Steven Burke in the event at London 2012.

Equally adept on the road, Kennaugh made his Grand Tour debut in the 2010 Vuelta a Espana, won the British Road Race Championship in 2014 and 2015 and triumphed at the 2014 Tour of Austria.
