BIOGRAPHY

Peter Chambers formed a successful partnership with Kieren Emery during his breakthrough 2011 season, winning the world under-23 lightweight pair title and then maintaining the winning streak to win gold at the senior World Championships in Bled.

At the London 2012 Olympic Games Chambers won a silver medal in the lightweight men's four alongside brother Richard before adding to his World Championship tally in 2013 and 2014 with two bronzes in first the lightweight men’s pair and then the lightweight men’s four.

In 2014 he also won European lightweight men’s four silver and added lightweight men’s pair gold to his collection a year later in Poznan, before claiming a second European silver in 2016, this time back in the four.

Chambers won his fourth world medal in 2017, a silver in Florida in the lightweight men’s four – a year after finishing seventh at his second Olympic Games in Rio.
