BIOGRAPHY

Olivia Carnegie-Brown was part of the history-making women's eight boat which picked up silver at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Team GB's first ever medal in the event.

The British crew held off the challenge from Romania to clinch second place, only finishing behind the USA on the Lagoa to help Team GB top the rowing medal table.

Westminster-born Carnegie-Brown won a world under-23 silver medal in the eight and also claimed senior European bronze in the same event as well as silver in the women’s pair.

The rower added another European silver to her tally in 2014 in the women’s eight before upgrading this to gold in 2016.
