BIOGRAPHY

Noel Baxter represented Britain at two Winter Olympic Games – at Salt Lake City in 2002, where he took part in the men’s slalom, and at Turin in 2006 where he competed in the slalom and the men’s combined.

He is the brother of fellow Alpine skier, Alain Baxter – controversially stripped of a bronze medal from the 2002 Games – and the two played shinty in Scotland.

After retiring from competition, Noel coached the Spanish national ski team and then the British women’s Alpine team.
