BIOGRAPHY

Molly Renshaw set a new British record of 2:22.33 when she qualified for the 200m breaststroke final at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games – where she finished sixth.

After narrowly missing out on London 2012, the Mansfield-born swimmer won 200m breaststroke bronze at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and also took home silver in the 4x100m medley.

That same year, Renshaw claimed silver at the European Championships, before earning continental gold in the 4x100m medley in 2016.

The breaststroker became world short-course champion over 200m seven months later and was selected for the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
