Matthew Hudson-Smith became a European champion in 2018 when he stormed to 400m gold in Berlin.
His elite career began when won bronze medals in the 200m and 4x400m relay at the European Junior Championships in Italy in 2013.
His success continued in 2014 as he won 4x400m gold at both the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and the European Championships in Zurich.
Hudson-Smith also claimed individual silver over 400m at the 2014 European Championships and in 2016 won his maiden British title.
He made his Olympic debut at Rio 2016 where he finished eighth in the 400m final, having won 4x400m relay European bronze earlier in the year.
In 2017, he won the same medal at the IAAF World Championships in London.
