BIOGRAPHY

Matt Langridge made his Olympic debut at Athens 2004 where he missed out on the double sculls final by the narrowest of margins.

The Cheshire rower picked up his first Olympic medal four years later in Beijing as he collected silver in the men's eight, while a bronze came at London 2012.

At the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Langridge was part of the men's eight crew which won Team GB's first ever Olympic gold in the event.
