Lois Toulson made her first senior international appearance at the 2015 European Championships, the same year in which she won platform gold at the European Games in Baku.
Toulson made her Olympic debut at Rio 2016, finishing fifth alongside Tonia Couch in the women's platform synchro final.
In 2017, she was crowned European champion in the mixed 10m synchro with Matty Lee, as well as winning individual gold, before Toulson and Lee won World Championship silver later that year in Budapest.
The Yorkshire diver made the rostrum once again alongside Lee in 2018, securing silver at the European Championships.
But it was in individual competition she really excelled in Edinburgh, peaking at the perfect time to surge to gold with Eden Cheng in the 10m synchro.
