Lesley McKenna made her Olympic debut at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games in 2002, competing in the snowboard halfpipe. Following this, she competed at the Turin 2006 Games and the Vancouver 2010 Games, where she placed 30th.
Lesley has a unique place in British snowsport – she is the first UK snowboarder ever to have won a World Cup halfpipe event. In fact, in 2003 she won two World Cup events and led the World Cup standings.
Prior to snowboarding, she was an avid skier, starting at the age of three before starting her successful snowboarding career at the age of ten.
