Jack Beaumont made his Olympic bow at Rio 2016, competing in the men's quadruple sculls event in which the British boat reached the final, eventually coming home in fifth.
Beaumont was part of the GB men’s quadruple scull team at the European Championships which set a tournament record in the repechage before going on to win bronze in the final.
The Maidenhead rower also picked up double scull bronze at the 2014 Under-23 World Championships in Varese.
Beaumont, who rows for Leander Club and attended Sir William Borlase’s School in Marlow, had finished fourth at the event 12 months before, the same year he won gold, silver and bronze at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival.
Beaumont's father, Peter Beaumont, came fourth in the 1988 Olympics in rowing men's eight.
