BIOGRAPHY

A world under-23 and junior champion, Nash graduated seamlessly to the senior set-up, forging a partnership with Will Satch that delivered a silver medal in the men’s pair at the Belgrade World Cup in 2012.

At the 2012 Olympics in London, Nash – whose aunt also rowed for Great Britain in the 1970s – won bronze in men's pair with Satch while in 2013 he was a member of the Men's Eight that won Britain's first ever world title in the event.

In 2014, Nash was moved into Great Britain's flagship boat, the men's coxless four, and won gold in the 2014 World Championships as well as European gold in the same year and another continental title in 2016.

Nash retired in 2016 having helped the men's four win gold at Rio 2016, the fifth consecutive Games that boat had triumphed.
