Elliot Giles

  • Date of Birth 26/05/1994
  • Born Birmingham

Elliot Giles enjoyed a breakthrough 2016, winning the British 800m title for the first time and then claiming European bronze in Amsterdam.

That was Giles’ British senior international debut and helped earn him selection for his maiden Olympic Games at Rio 2016.

His Olympic selection capped a remarkable recovery from a serious motorbike accident in 2012 that kept him from the track for three years and left him having to learn how to walk again.

In 2017 Giles dipped under 1:45 for 800m for the first time and was selected for the World Championships in London where he reached the semi-finals.
