Dan Goodfellow showed he would be one to watch in 2013 when he claimed double bronze at the British Championships in both the 3m springboard and 10m platform.
In the same year, the diver won gold in the European Junior Championships but was kept out of action at the 2014 Commonwealth Games due to injury.
Cambridge-born Goodfellow teamed up with Tom Daley in the run up to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, clinching 10m synchro bronze at the Diving World Cup in February, before adding silver at the European Championships.
Then the dynamite duo combined to clinch an incredible bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in the 10m synchro final.
Two years later Goodfellow and Daley combined to win Commonwealth gold on the Gold Coast as Daley achieved his fourth Commonwealth Games gold medal of his career.
Goodfellow switched disciplines after the 2018 European Championships to partner Jack Laugher in the 3m synchronised diving event.
