Chris Adcock and wife Gabby are Great Britain’s foremost mixed doubles pair and one of the premier partnerships at the top of the badminton world.
They took Commonwealth gold at Glasgow 2014 and then repeated the feat on Australia’s Gold Coast four years later.
That wasn’t the only title that the Adcocks defended in 2018, winning a second successive European Championships mixed doubles gold in Huelva, Spain.
In 2011 with then partner Imogen Bankier, Chris took World Championships silver before making his Olympic debut at London 2012 the following year.
At the Commonwealth Games in 2014, he won win silver in the team event, making it his third Commonwealth medal after mixed team bronze in Delhi.
In 2015, the Adcocks won the BWF World Superseries Finals in Dubai and competed together at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games the following year.
2017 saw the Adcocks crowned European champions for the first time before they added bronze in the World Championships in Glasgow to their collection.
