Catriona Matthew claimed her maiden major with victory at the 2009 Women’s British Open before being crowned Ladies European Tour Player of the Year later that year.
Hull won the Scottish amateur title in 1991, 1993 and 1994 as well as the British amateur title in 1993 before turning professional in 1995.
With over 100 career top-ten finishes to her name, Matthew was chosen to represent Team GB at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games as golf returned to the schedule after a 112-year absence. She finished ten shots off the podium in 29th.
She was named as the captain for the 2019 Solheim Cup.
