BIOGRAPHY

Originally a 200m and 400m sprinter, Bruce Tasker didn’t start competing in bobsleigh until 2010, when he was encouraged to try the sport by GBR1 driver John Jackson.

Since then Tasker has achieved multiple podium finishes, most notably at the Europa Cup in Altenberg where he took silver with Toby Olubi.

The Welshman competed for Team GB at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games where he was in the four-man along with Stuart Benson, Joel Fearon and Jackson and afterwards began training to become a pilot.

In 2016, Tasker made history as a driver at the World Championships when he and Fearon secured Great Britain’s best two-man result for 50 years, finishing fourth.
