Born in Zimbabwe, Angela Hannah started canoeing aged 21, having previously been a junior international in hockey.
She won European Championship bronze and was a gold medallist at the World Cup in Szeged in 2014, competing in the K2 200m on both occasions.
Hannah was also a member of the canoe sprint senior team that represented Team GB at London 2012, finishing fofth in the K4 500m and competed at the inaugural European Games in Baku in 2015.
At Rio 2016, Hannah competed alongside Lani Belcher in the K2 500m with the pair finishing seventh in the B final.
She won bronze in the K2 200m at the 2017 World Championships.
