Allan Scott

  • Date of Birth 27/12/1982

Allan Scott began his career as a triple jumper but decided to switch to the hurdles, and his decision was vindicated when he was voted Scottish Male Athlete of the Year in 2005.

After a spate of injuries, at the start of 2008 he ran 7.52 for the 60m hurdles to improve his own Scottish record, and this time placed him top of the world rankings for the early part of the indoor season.

He represented Great Britain at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing in the 110m hurdles, two years after running for Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
