Where to watch the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships

The 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships are set to get underway in Antwerp and there is no better time to follow a record-breaking Great Britain team.

With 10 places at Paris 2024 already secured following ample success at the 2022 World Championships in Liverpool, qualification pressure is off, but the Brits still have an eye on bettering last year’s six-medal haul.

Ones to Watch

A strong women’s team this year consists of Jessica Gadirova, Ondine Achampong, Ruby Evans, Georgia-Mae Fenton and triple Commonwealth champion Alice Kinsella.

For the men’s team, Jake Jarman, James Hall, Harry Hepwort, Courtney Tulloch and Max Whitlock eye another podium place after the 2022 team fought back to claim bronze in last year’s epic team final.

Gadirova returns to defend her world champion status on the floor while Whitlock is back in the Great Britain fold at a major championships for the first time since Tokyo 2020.

Britain’s most successful gymnast, Whitlock already has eight world titles to his name as he looks to add to his hoard in Antwerp.

Earlier in the month, Whitlock claimed World Challenge Cup gold on his return to international action in Paris alongside Tulloch and Hepworth.
