Sailing, track cycling and athletics all continue to be in the spotlight on Day 12 of the Paris Olympics.
There are 21 gold medals up for grabs on Wednesday, as well as semi-finals in climbing and diving.
Track Cycling
Following the sprinters, we will see Team GB’s team pursuit squads target medals on Wednesday.
The men’s team qualified second for tonight’s first round in a time of 3:43.241, a quarter of a second behind Australia.
They will be targeting a spot in the gold medal race at 17:33, with the bronze medal race immediately before.
The team of Daniel Bigham, Ethan Hayter, Ethan Vernon and Ollie Wood won team pursuit gold in the 2022 World Championships, while Hayter has a madison silver to his name from Tokyo.

The women’s team qualified in third for tomorrow’s first round, which takes place at 12:52 ahead of the final at 17:57.
Elinor Barker, Josie Knight and Anna Morris, who all won World Championship gold last year, are joined by Jessica Roberts.
Knight and Barker both were both part of the team that won pursuit silver in Tokyo, and Barker was also involved as Team GB won pursuit gold in Rio.
Athletics
European record holder Matthew Hudson-Smith will go for gold in the men’s 400m final at 20:20.
Hudson-Smith has a European gold medal and world silver and bronze medals to his name since missing Tokyo through injury.

Anning ran the second fastest time in heats, 49.68, while Nielsen qualified in 50.36 and Ohuruogu progressed through the repechage.

Sailing
Team GB’s John Gimson and Anna Burnet go into tomorrow’s mixed multihull medal race in bronze medal position, just six points off a silver medal.
With the medal race worth double points, they will be chasing the Argentinian pair, who sit in second place as it stands.
If they can finish ahead of New Zealand’s Micah Wilkinson and Erica Dawson, then they are guaranteed a medal.
Wednesday will also see the men’s dinghy medal race, after it was postponed today due to the wind conditions.
Michael Beckett is fourth, within five points of a medal, going into that race.
Ellie Aldridge and Connor Bainbridge are both in the kite action, with Aldridge joint-top of the standings after six races and Bainbridge eighth after seven races.
Skateboarding park
Andy MacDonald will compete in the men’s park preliminaries at 11:30 BST, with the final at 16:30.
The 51-year-old, who is the oldest competitor in Olympic skateboarding history, has eight X Games gold medals.
A 15-year-old, a 16-year-old, and a 50-year-old competing in the same team at the Olympics.
