Mo Farah is one of the country’s most successful athletes. He won double Olympic gold in the 5,000m and 10,000m at London 2012 and is the only athlete to complete the triple-double at successive global championships. Here are some of his key numbers:

Farah won double Olympic gold at London 2012, landing the 10,000m before following up in the 5,000m. He also won both at the World Championships in 2013 and 2015 to complete the triple-double, as well as at the European Championships in 2010 and 2014.

Farah’s blistering last lap in the 5,000m final at London 2012 was just 52.9 seconds as he completed the track long distance golden double.
