Team GB will have further medal chances on Day 4 at Milano Cortina 2026 with athletes in action across five sports.
Jen Dodds and Bruce Mouat will be competing for a medal in the mixed doubles curling, while Jacques Jefferies will compete in the men’s 20km individual biathlon final.
Cross-country skiing
Anna Pryce will take to the snow again in the women’s sprint classic with qualification kicking off bright and early at 9.15am.
And Team GB have three athletes in action in the men’s sprint classic, with five-time Olympian Andrew Musgrave, James Clugnet and Joe Davies all competing in the men’s sprint classic.
Freestyle skiing
Matéo Jeannesson and Makayla Gerken-Schofield will hit the slopes in the moguls qualification.
Olympic debutant Jeannesson will make his bid for a final first in the men’s event at 11.05am, before Gerken-Schofield, who finished eighth at Beijing 2022, gets underway at 2.15pm.
Short Track Speed Skating
It will be Niall Treacy providing Team GB’s representation in the short track men’s 1000m, with action getting underway at 11.08am.
Milano Cortina 2026 marks Treacy’s second Games, having finished 27th in the 1000m at Beijing 2022.
He has since won silver in the event at the 2024 European Short Track Championships before winning bronze on the 2024 World Tour.
Biathlon
Jacques Jefferies will hit the snow in the men’s 20km individual biathlon final at 1.30pm.
It will mark the 23-year-old’s Olympic debut, having mainly featured on the IBU Cup circuit.
He earned a top 60 finish in the World Cup sprint in Annecy before Christmas, enough to qualify for the pursuit later in the week.
Curling
Dodds and Mouat will definitely be bidding for a medal in the mixed doubles curling, it is just the colour yet to be decided.
Should they beat Sweden in Monday’s semi-final match, they will guarantee a medal and compete at 6.05pm local time in the final aiming for gold.
If they fail to beat Sweden, they will compete in the bronze medal match at 2.05pm with a place on the podium on the line.
