Great Britain once again finished a UCI Track World Cup atop the medal table after Olympic champion Elinor Barker won points race gold on the final day, in Apeldoorn.
Barker put in a commanding performance to win by six points from Japan’s Minami Uwano, as fellow Brit Emily Nelson finished fourth.
After five golds in Glasgow last weekend Great Britain could only manage two this week, but Barker’s – adding to her silver medal in the scratch race at last month’s European championships – was her first in this winter’s World Cup series.
"I'm very, very happy with how it went," she told British Cycling.
"It was a tough race with some really strong riders racing - including Emily Nelson, who gave everyone a hard time.
“That is probably the best I've ever performed in a points race tactically, so I'm very proud of that."
That gold was Britain’s second of the meet after Joe Truman, Jack Carlin and Ryan Owens won a second men’s team sprint World Cup gold in successive weekends, on Friday.
There were also two silver medals and a bronze medal for Great Britain to celebrate as Emily Kay backed up her omnium gold from last weekend, with silver in the Netherlands.
She took fifth in the opening scratch race and followed it up with second in the tempo race and fourth in the elimination race, meaning she was second heading into the final points race.
Home favourite Kirsten Wild took the title but Kay put in a sterling performance to hold on to the silver medal on the opening night of competition.
And Chris Latham also won silver on a medal-laden Friday night for Great Britain in Omnisport Apeldoorn, finishing second behind Raman Ramanau in the scratch race.
The bronze medal was secured in the final race of the meet, as youngsters Ollie Wood and Mark Stewart took second in the final sprint of the men’s Madison to take third position overall.
Olympic bronze medallist Katy Marchant also made her return to the track in Apeldoorn, but came up just short in the keirin, finishing fourth, before having to pull out of Sunday’s individual sprint due to illness.
