Charlotte Worthington has taken the decision to withdraw from the Kraków-Małopolska European Games in order to prioritise her journey towards Paris 2024.
Triathlete Olivia Mathias will also no longer compete after suffering a hamstring injury. She is replaced by 24-year-old Hollie Elliott off the back of her top ten finish in the Europe Triathlon Cup in Caorle last month.
In total, 177 athletes are representing Team GB across 18 Olympic disciplines at the European Games. The Opening Ceremony is set to take place this evening (Wednesday 21 June) at the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium, with the Closing Ceremony to return at the same venue on Sunday 2 July after 12 days of competition.
