British Olympians and debutants alike are set to light up the 2026 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships this week.
Split over two weeks, with the women and then the men competing, Zagreb will play host to the continental event for the first time from 13th - 23rd August.
British gymnasts walked away with five medals from their last European outing in 2025, with a historic silver medal in the mixed team event.
And while the mixed team does not return this time round, there are still plenty of medals up for grabs in Croatia.
Women's team
Fresh off her Commonwealth gold on the floor, Ruby Evans will lead out a strengthened women's squad.
The 19-year-old has world and Commonwealth medals to her name on the apparatus and will now be looking to add European silverware to her CV.
She will be joined by fellow Paris 2024 Olympian and floor silver medallist from Glasgow 2026, Abi Martin, with the Welsh and English gymnasts reuniting to compete together for GB.
Martin won floor bronze at the 2025 World Championship and will be looking to join her teammate on the podium once more.
They are bolstered by experienced Olympian Becky Downie, who will be returning to international competition for the first time since Paris 2024, with shoulder surgery six months later keeping her on the sidelines.
The Paris 2024 trio are joined by Team England’s Commonwealth bronze medallists Ruby Stacey and Alia Leat.
Men's team
Joe Fraser, Courtney Tulloch, Harry Hepworth and Jonas Rushworth lead out a talented men's side in Zagreb, joined by debutantes Sol Scott and Jack Stanley.
Three-time European champion from 2022, Fraser returns to the fray in search of a seventh European medal.
After winning high bar bronze at the 2025 World Championship and three golds at this year's British Championships, Fraser will be one-to-watch once more.
Rings specialist Tulloch will step out for an incredible 11th European Championship.
A stalwart of the British team, he has eight European medals to his name and will be looking to add more in Zagreb.
Paris 2024 vault bronze medallist Hepworth walked away from the 2025 European Championship with a first major international title, part of the squad that soared to team gold, alongside Rushworth.
The duo will now be looking to defend their title as the only returning members of the team, while youngsters Stanley and Scott get ready to soak up their first taste of international experience.
