If the first day of this week is anything to go by British athletes are set to shine over the next six; here is the best of what’s happening in Olympic sport up to June 15.
England’s men’s hockey team reached the semi-finals of the World Cup after a dramatic defeat of Belgium while on the same day James Davis won European fencing gold.

And as shooting’s World Cup in Munich ends another begins in Maribor while rhythmic gymnastics hosts its own European Championships in Baku in Azerbaijan.
There’s further World Cup action in archery, BMX and mountain biking while the European qualifiers for the 2015 Men’s World Handball Championships roll on.
The second round of the Women’s EuroBasket qualifiers continues with Britain set to face Macedonia and Lithuania after opening up with a win over Belgium last week.
