Team GB Luge - Ones to watch on the Road to Sochi 2014

Adam Rosen is the sole British luger vying to compete at Sochi 2014 – which if achieved – would be his third Olympic appearance after outings at Vancouver 2010 and Turin 2006.

Rosen took a season out after Vancouver 2010 and considered calling time on his involvement before deciding to give Sochi and a third Olympic Winter Games appearance a go.

He finished 16th at both Turin 2006 and Vancouver 2010 and will have got the Olympic season underway at the World Cup opener in Lillehammer.

If Rosen earns a ranking, based on World Cup points gained in the Olympic season up to December 31 2013, in the top 37 men, the British Olympic Association will be contacted by the International Luge Federation to confirm their intent to use a place at the Games.

Rosen ranked 31st in the 2012-13 World Cup.
