Gallagher wins Trampolining World Cup bronze

Laura Gallagher made perfect preparations for the Trampolining World Championships with an impressive bronze at the Loulé World Cup.

The 29-year-old scored 54.520 at the last World Cup event of the season in Portugal to cap off a fine season.

It wasn’t the only success of the day for Great Britain, with Elliot Browne and Meagan Kealy winning silver in the tumbling finals.

And Kristol Willerton brought Great Britain’s medal count up to four for the day with a deserved bronze medal in the men’s tumbling final.

The 2018 Trampoline World Championships take place in November in St Petersburg, where GB’s athletes will compete for titles over the course of the four-day event.

Olympic silver medallist Bryony Page headlines a strong women’s trampoline team as she is joined by double Olympian Kat Driscoll and 2017 British champion Laura Gallagher.
